Art In Mind is a project that incorporates various design elements from a folding technique pattern that is found in ‘Folding Techniques for Designers' by Paul Jackson, into a space that accommodates art students to be creative without any distractions.

The pattern was first created in Rhino to then be brought into Photoshop to add color.

From Rhino, it was then exported into the MakerBot printer software to create a 3D print of the design.

Rhino was then used again to render the pattern as various design elements in the space, such as the pattern used as an accent wall, a lighting element in the center of the ceiling, and a decorative element that supports the cove lighting from underneath
Subtle colors of pink and green in the back wall and ceiling contrast the neutral colors of the natural materials of the wood flooring and concrete walls, allowing an overall cohesive and comfortable atmosphere to be in while focusing on creating art.
